TRAIL POINT/DMACC BOUNDARY RULES AND AGE GUIDELINES

  • Members under the age of 18 are restricted to Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness boundary unless with a Parent/Guardian.
  • Access to DMACC Student Center is limited to food vendors when they are open.
  • Minors ages 13-17 may utilize vendors, but must return to seating area in front of Trail Point once receiving food/vending item.
  • Ages 3 months-8 years must be checked into Kids Zone while parent / guardian is using the facility or supervised by parent/guardian or 16+ year old sibling.  
  • Ages 9-12 can use exercise equipment (upon completing FitPass Orientation) as long as their parent/guardian is with them at all times, including the track.    
  • Ages 9-12 can be without parental supervision in the lobby/lounge, racquetball & basketball courts (first floor) as long as parent/guardian is in the building.   
  • Pool age guidelines can be reviewed on the age guideline sheet.
  • Ages 12+ can attend any group fitness class.
  • Ages 13+ can be in the facility without a parent/guardian present.   
  • Ages 13+ can use any exercise equipment (second floor) without adult supervision. 
  • Ages 16+ can supervise children ages 3 months-15 years.
  • Ages 16+ can bring one guest/visit (see guest guidelines at www.mytrailpoint.com).

KIDS ZONE TERMS

  • Kids Zone is available for children ages 3 months – 8 years of age.
  • Children listed on a family membership can visit 1 time per day for up to 2 hours.
  • To ensure appropriate child to adult ratios are met, child guests are not allowed to use Kids Zone.

30 DAY IN-PERSON CANCELLATION NOTICE

I may cancel my month-to-month membership by providing a 30-day in-person written notice with the Membership Cancellation Form at the Membership Desk at Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness.  Members are to turn in their Trail Point Membership cards at the time of completing the Membership Cancellation Form.  Memberships are pre-paid for the entire month (28 to 31 days) and partial month refunds will not be issued.   

10 DAY IN-PERSON FREEZE/MEMBERSHIP TYPE UPDATE NOTICE

I understand that my membership can be placed on freeze up to 3 months, one-time per calendar year by providing a 10-day in-person written notice with the Membership Freeze Form at the Membership Desk.  Memberships cannot be cancelled while on freeze.  Cancellations must occur with active memberships.  

I understand I can change my membership type by providing a 10-day in-person written notice with the Membership Update Form at the Membership Desk.

AUTHORIZATION FOR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT), BANK DRAFT OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

I hereby authorize my bank or credit card company to make my payment for monthly dues, any unpaid past dues, and any other fees, taxes or charges from the account shown below. I agree to pay Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness a fee of $20.00 and any late charges, as well as any other charges allowed by law for any EFT or credit card charge not honored by my bank or Credit Card Company. I understand that Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness may, upon written or email notice to me may change the rate and/or date that my monthly dues are debited from my account.   I understand that at the conclusion of the initial pro-rated membership fee, my membership will automatically be converted to a month-to-month membership. 

PAID IN FULL PAYMENT TERMS

Paid in full memberships expire at the conclusion of the term specified the Membership Agreement (6 or 12-month membership term). If you want to continue your membership after that time, you will need to enter into a new membership agreement. Paid in full memberships cannot be transferred, cannot be refunded, cannot be downgraded, cannot be placed on Freeze and cannot be terminated prior to expiration date.  To upgrade from paid in full individual membership to a paid in full family membership the additional membership fee and a $15 processing fee will be applied.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY 

All members and their families are urged to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using pools, exercise equipment or participating in any exercise class or program either on their own or lead by a Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness or DMACC associate. All exercise, including the use of the pools, weights and any and all equipment, and apparatus designed for exercising, shall be at the member's sole risk. All members understand that the decision to use this facility, or the selection of exercise programs, methods and types of equipment or pools shall be member's entire responsibility, and Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness and DMACC shall not be liable to member for any claims, demands, injuries, damages or actions arising due to injury to member's or families’ person or property arising out of or in connection with the use by member or family of the services, facilities, and premises of Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness and DMACC. The member and their family hereby holds Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness and DMACC, its officers, agents and employees harmless from all claims which may be brought against them by the member or their family or on member's behalf for any such injuries or claims. Do not sign this agreement before reading it and blank spaces are filled in. The member acknowledges that member has read front and back pages and received a completed copy of this agreement in compliance with federal and state law.

REFUSAL OF MEMBERSHIP TERMS

Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness/DMACC reserves the right to deny access or membership to any person who has been charged with or convicted of any crime involving sexual abuse or who is required by law to register as a sex offender.
