Under 4 years: Children must be at least 3 months old to be in the pool under any circumstances.Regardless of swim test results, parent or guardian must be in the water and within 10-feet of the child at ALL times.
Only certified and approved United States Coast Guard flotation devices are allowed.
Ages 5-8: Children who have not passed the swim test must swim under parent or guardian supervision. Parent or guardian must be in the water and within 10-feet of the child at ALL times.
In order to swim without a parent or guardian in the water, children must pass the 25-yard swim test.?Guardians must be in the immediate pool area but do not have to be in the water.
Ages 9+ are allowed in the pool area without adult supervision as long as they have passed the 25-yard swim test, knowing their own limitations.
